Tajinder Singh Hayer is a writer for TV, radio and theatre. He was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in 1980. Taj was Writer in Residence at BBC Manchester. He was also Writer in Residence at the West Yorkshire Playhouse from March-September 2004, a member of the Lime Pictures/Liverpool Everyman writers group and an Associate Writer with Peshkar Productions. Taj currently teaches creative writing at Lancaster University. His works include You: The Player (West Yorkshire Playhouse, 2012), On Top (Old Red Lion, 2012) and Mela (West Yorkshire Playhouse, 2008)
